Welcome to our website.

The United Methodist Church in Nevada, Missouri is located at 500 South College.

We offer two worship services on Sunday morning.
A Traditional Worship Service is offered at 9:00 am. At this service you will experience traditional hymns of the faith, our Chancel Choir and on some Sundays our Handbell Choir.
A Contemporary Worship Service is offered at 11:15 am. This service is more informal and uses contemporary Christian music.

Between the services, at 10:15 am, we offer Sunday School Classes for all ages. There is also a coffee time in the church parlor at 10:15 am.

John Wesley (the founder of the Methodist movement) was concerned about inviting people to experience God’s grace. Wesley also wanted people to grow in faith and live out the love of God through disciplined Christian living. Putting faith and love into action was primary for Wesley. This ideal that Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" guides us today.
